Facilities and Amenities

The Reading Hospital Regional Cancer Center is located on the Ground Level of N-Building. All of our treatment modalities and subspecialties including doctors' offices, exam rooms, treatment areas, and educational facilities are conveniently located in one area with easy accessibility from the Cancer Center Lobby.

Patients and visitors should use the 5th Avenue entrance to the West Reading campus. To self-park, make the first left turn into the 5th Avenue Garage and park on the level near the revolving door entrance into the Regional Cancer Center.

Image Recovery Center

This hospital-based program provides appearance counseling, rehabilitation, education, and techniques for patients concerned with body image changes. The program’s services are designed to provide state of the art medical treatment for both patients with cancer and those whose appearance has been altered due to disease, treatment, or trauma. A team of skilled professionals focus on recovering the many visible changes caused by both the disease and the side effects of treatment. Maintaining an attractive appearance through image recovery, exercising, developing good nutritional habits, practicing relaxation techniques, and having available emotional and spiritual support are all essential components to building a strong self image.

The Healing Garden

The Healing Garden, a project of the Friends of The Reading Hospital, provides a peaceful atmosphere for our patients and visitors. Located just outside of the Infusion Center, the garden is easily accessed by Cancer Center patients via an entrance on N-Ground. We also offer a public entrance on the first floor of N-Building. The garden is open daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Regional Cancer Center Infusion Center

The single largest area in the entire Regional Cancer Center is our infusion center, where we provide care for individuals undergoing chemotherapy. This area has been designed with abundant natural light and windows, as well as an original piece of art, Changing Tides, a tile mosaic column.

Valet Parking

For the safety and convenience of our patients, The Reading Hospital Regional Cancer Center offers free valet parking. Those wishing to use this service should enter the campus via 5th Avenue. Follow the driveway straight back and beneath the building to the blue-shirted valets.
