The Reading Hospital Home Care

The Reading Hospital Home Care provides continuing medical care for clients in the comfort of their own homes as they continue to recover from joint replacement or other surgery, stroke, or bone fracture, or if they need ongoing treatments for diabetes, heart disease, respiratory illness, or other health problem. Staff members focus the one-on-one attention necessary to help their homebound clients get better.

Our home care professionals work under the direction of the doctor, following the prescribed treatment plan to return clients to good health and independence. The average length of treatment for The Reading Hospital Home Care patients ranges from four to six weeks. During this time, clients get to know their nurses and therapists quite well. We assign a primary nurse and therapist to each client, so the same staff members are coming into the home.
