Infusion Center

The Reading Hospital Infusion Center offers routine outpatient services for adult patients seeking supportive treatment for chronic kidney disease, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and other diagnoses. We also provide limited services for adolescents. Our mission is to provide excellent quality health care to all our patients in a safe and compassionate manner. We work closely with your physician to provide the infusions and therapy selected for your care.

Services include:

• IV medication therapy
• Refill and maintenance of port pumps
• Antibiotic therapy
• Intramuscularly and subcutaneous injections
• IV fluid hydration
• Venous access device irrigation
• Implanted venous access device declotting
• Blood transfusion
• Vaccines
• PICC insertion and routine care

All services require a prescription written by a physician on staff at The Reading Hospital.

Patients are seen by appointment only, during daytime hours, seven days a week.
