Lisa Childs gave birth to a healthy baby girl on August 4. Elena Childs weighed 6 pounds 2 ounces and is 16.5 inches long. Congratulations to the Childs family. Lisa will return late this year following her maternity leave.

The Weight Management Support Group meets at 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. We welcome all those who have had, or are considering surgical weight loss. Our meetings provide an opportunity to speak with other patients who have had surgery. A support network provides education and information at each meeting. We also provide the opportunity to socialize and ask questions after each meeting. Studies have shown that those patients who regularly attend support meetings tend to do better overall.
