The Reading Hospital is making every effort to protect our patients and staff during the flu season. During this time, all visitors must be 14 years of age or older. This new policy includes the Pediatric Unit and Beginnings Maternity Center. Only parents of children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will be permitted in the NICU.

| Beginnings Maternity Center | 24-hours-a-day at the patient's discretion. All visitors must stop first at the nurses station. |
| Medical Intensive Care Unit & Surgical Intensive Care Unit | 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 - 8 p.m. Visitors must be at least 14 years of age. Brief visits recommended. Critical care patients may have no more than two visitors at a time. Visitors must obtain a visitor badge from the Guest Services staff in the 5th Avenue Lobby before proceeding to the Intensive Care Unit. |
| Neonatal Intensive Care Unit | Parents Grandparents and siblings (must visit with parents) 15 minutes only during either: Siblings must be at least four years old for Progressive Care section, and ten years old for other sections. |

| Spruce Pavilion | While the staff of the Spruce Pavilion encourages visiting as an important part of mental health treatment, visiting hours are limited by the patient’s age and condition. Please call the Nursing Staff at 610-988-9027 for more information about visiting hours. |
| Post Anesthesia Care Unit | Immediate family of overnight or extended stay patients may visit two at a time from 7:30 – 8 p.m., at the discretion of the Charge Nurse. Children under the age of 12 may have one parent present with them during their recovery |
