Thank you for your interest in volunteering at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Volunteers are an integral part of our Hospital team. They are people of all ages and from all walks of life, who give their time and energy to help others and make a difference in their community.
Please consider the following ways to volunteer at The Reading Hospital:
Volunteers join others from around the community on regularly scheduled days to complete much needed service projects for the Hospital. Projects include pairing patient slippers, assembling patient charts, completing bulk mailings, making tray favors, etc. Teen and adult work groups are available. (Students must have completed eighth grade.)

Our Volunteer Knitting Guild meets once a month to knit baby caps, prayer/friendship shawls, and chemotherapy caps. We provide the yarn and instructions. Free knitting classes are available.

Join one of the 17 local Friends groups. Monthly meetings include planning and implementing fundraising projects, a general business meeting, participating in service projects, and lots of socializing.
